A COURSE FOR WOMEN WHO WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Do you want to become more active in your community but don’t know how?
- Do you want to get your voice heard?
Engendering Change is designed to give women a better knowledge and
understanding of:
- Opportunities for becoming more involved in your community and public life
in Wales. - How to take forward a community issue and get your voice heard.
- Decision making in local, national and central government and how it can
work for you. - Opportunities for lobbying and campaigning
- The barriers for women and how to overcome them.
Costs: Training is FREE and childcare, access and travel costs will be paid.
When: Wednesdays 9.30am to 3.00 pm for 5 weeks
Starting on Wednesday 20th February 2008
Where: Splott & Tremorfa Communities First, Splott Methodist Church, Splott
Road, Cardiff.
Who: All women who ‘want to make a difference’ particularly women who are currently under represented in the decision making process because of race, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or social status.
