A COURSE FOR WOMEN WHO WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  1. Do you want to become more active in your community but don’t know how?
  1. Do you want to get your voice heard?

Engendering Change is designed to give women a better knowledge and
understanding of:

  1. Opportunities for becoming more involved in your community and public life
    in Wales.
  2. How to take forward a community issue and get your voice heard.
  3. Decision making in local, national and central government and how it can
    work for you.
  4. Opportunities for lobbying and campaigning
  5. The barriers for women and how to overcome them.

Costs:          Training is FREE and childcare, access and travel costs will be paid.

When:            Wednesdays 9.30am to 3.00 pm for 5 weeks 
                        Starting on Wednesday 20th February 2008

Where:          Splott & Tremorfa Communities First, Splott Methodist Church, Splott
Road, Cardiff.

Who:              All women who ‘want to make a difference’ particularly women who are currently under represented in the decision making process because of race, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or social status.
