Over the past 3 years the Deri and Groesfaen Community
Partnership has been working towards producing a Local
Action Plan. This is part of the Welsh Assembly
Government’s Guidance which states that all Communities
First Partnerships should over time aim to develop a Local
Action Plan, which sets out the aspirations of the wider
community. The purpose of a Local Action Plan is to share
the vision of a community with a range of stakeholders.
In particular, to show the aspirations and solutions identified by the local community on
the basis of evidence and their local knowledge. This draft Local Action Plan is the culmination of 3 years work, research and consultation, by the Deri and Groesfaen Community Partnership and is a significant achievement for the Partnership.
